I recently had a couple of rolls of film developed, and I've been meaning to share a few photos here. The images above were taken at Crane Beach in Ipswich, MA. It was a perfect breezy, sunny day - summer giving way to autumn, the four-mile stretch of sand looking quite different from the last time I had visited during peak swim season. The salt air whipped around us, and I shed my shoes for just long enough to brave the Atlantic chill. Evan and I picked up all kinds of flotsam with a view to tossing it in a bin on the way out, only to be informed by the ranger of the "carry in, carry out" policy. Thankfully, he took pity on us - we had certainly meant well - and we were able to avoid transporting a sack full of broken combs, bobbins and plastic spades back to the city.
